The Independent Living Plus (ILP) Supervisor plans, directs, and coordinates the ILP program. The supervisor oversees the cottage to ensure it meets agency expectations and goals, ensures the cottage maintains compliance with agency and DHHS requirements, assess cottage needs, develops goals and ensures that the cottage has a cooperative working relationship with the rest of the program and agency, supervises assigned staff and assists them in their job duties. This program works with youth aging out of the foster care system. Providing mentorship, life skills, education assistance, workforce development, job readiness training and housing.
- Manage the cottage to ensure it operates within the rules, regulations and guidelines.
- Establish and oversee administrative procedures to meet objectives set by the Director and leadership team; participate in developing department goals and objectives.
- Establish and maintain cottage systems, records and reports; recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvement of cottage services.
- Supervise assigned staff members and volunteers
- Looking for a team mate who is eager to continue to grow their skill set in a professional team.
- Bachelor’s degree in a human behavioral science
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a residential or inpatient setting working with serious emotional disorder (SED) at-risk youth between the ages of 7-21 (preferred)
- Experience as a supervisor in a residential program (preferred).
- Group Home Systems experience.
