Senior Manager/Supervisor

The Lead Case Manager demonstrates knowledge of and familiarity with both Board of Child Care and Office of Refugee Resettlement Policy and Procedures relating to the care and supervision of Unaccompanied Children. 

  • Responsible for general oversight and coordination of case management services. This includes responsibility for direct oversight of the case management team.
  • Supports development and implementation of service planning to ensure that all youth have access to diverse and meaningful program offerings.
  • Ensures accurate and timely completion of documentation as required by state and federal regulations, to include ensuring that all services provided to youth are documented in the client record and required databases in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Provides effective communication across departments and programs to ensure consistency of expectations, as well as works effectively as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Involved in interviewing and onboarding new employees for the department. Integral in the orientation process for case management staff to teach clear expectations of the position and how it fits in the agency, provide ongoing support

Education and Experience Required 

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited college or university in behavioral sciences, human services or social services field and 3 years’ experience demonstrating supervisory and case management experience preferred
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral sciences, human services or social services field and 3 years of progressive employment experience in holding supervisory and case management duties.
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking both Spanish and English.
  • Professional licensure preferred
  • Child Welfare experience preferred
